Apply To Attend
Our curators are currently recruiting youth from each of Chicago’s 50 wards, who are towards the end of their high-school years or near the beginning of their college years, and who have exhibited outstanding leadership skills in and around their community. Each youth selected will identify their selected mentor for the event.
The application deadline is June 30, 2019. The application requires you and your mentor’s identifying information, as well as a two-minute video of you telling us: what it means to be a youth growing up in America or what your mentor means to you. We don’t expect anything fancy by way of a video – just a casual two minutes of you recorded on a smart phone and uploaded onto YouTube will do!
Photo/Video/Image Release: Please note that all attendees, including youth and their mentors, will be required to sign a release that requires them to provide a photo for inclusion in publications, news releases, online, and in other communications related to the mission of TEDxYouth@Wrigleyville, and that further allows TEDxYouth@Wrigleyville and its organizers to use any photos or videos taken of them during the August 4, 2019 TEDxYouth@Wrigleyville event in publications, news releases, online, and in other communications related to the mission of TEDxYouth@Wrigleyville.
We look forward to hearing from you!
